Sheldon has over 17 years experience in the security industry and started his career with the Canadian military before moving over to law enforcement for a short time. After the police he worked in various aspects of the private security industry involving large scale operations for crowd control, river and boat patrolling, strike enforcement and corporate security. Upon completion of the Advanced Executive Protection program with top marks for combined program at Executive Security International in USA, he moved as an expert into the private security and consulting to Military and Law Enforcement while continually furthering his knowledge in firearms, tactics and procedures. As a specialist in light weapons, in 2000 he joined the ESI staff as part of the Affiliate Instructor program, completed it with the highest mark and now teaches in their Advanced Executive Protection and the Special Operations programs, as well as contract security. In 2002 after partnering with an American production company he began catering services to the film and television community. Expert in tactics, light weapons, special effects and pyrotechnics, Mr. Maxwell provides a broad service to the Film and TV industry in the forms of consulting, training and technical advice for productions.
